Have you ever wondered what it takes to get your fish cured to perfection?
We’re very proud that our yellow smoked haddock and natural smoked haddock are cured at the oldest smoke house on the Grimsby docks, now a listed building.
The fish is bought and smoked on the same day with its distinct smoky flavour coming from oak wood chips, where the haddock is left to hang overnight in chimneys to let all the flavour in.
We also supply smoked mackeral, hot roast salmon, and the finest Scottish smoked salmon from John Ross, the award winning Aberdeen smoke house.
Smoked Fish is perfect for freezing as it retains all that wonderful smoky flavour.
